Born in Corpus Christi, TX, Pastor Javier Flores was the eldest of four children. He began getting in some trouble when he was growing up. As he got older he began drinking, and started getting in more trouble with the police. He then got into drugs . His life was out of control until he went to Indiana in 1991. He was still drinking heavily. He had started working as an ac/heating installer. One day he was removing an old cast iron furnace, when he hurt his back. He was in so much pain he had to sleep sitting down. He decided to see a chiropractor. The doctor was unable to help him, so he went to the emergency room. That doctor took an X-ray that showed him how bad the injury was. The spinal cord was bone to bone so he recommended an operation. Without this operation, he would be paralyzed within 2 years without any income. Javier went home in pain. He sat there with no hope. One day he picked up the bible. As he sat there reading, he felt what now he knows was the Holy Spirit telling him to get into his car and drive. He ended up at Lesea Ministry. During camp meeting, he gave his life to Jesus Christ. He made Jesus Christ the Lord of his life. Soon he was ordained as a pastor in 1999, but God led him to evangelize. He now helps out churches that are starting out and ministers wherever God opens doors .
