WE Believe.....
In the apostolic ministry that Jesus set up in the new Testament
for his church. (Ephesians 4:11)
The five fold apostolic ministry:
APOSTLES: Godly anointed people who are raised up and called by God (Galatians1:1) They are spirit-filled and have an intimate relationship with God. Their gift is to keep the church on task in being faithful to the great commission. (Matthew 28:18-20)
PROPHETS: People who are called of God to speak as his mouthpiece. They are spirit-filled who hear the voice of the Lord. The prophet's function to the church is to edify Christ and uplift the body (Acts 2:14-36) The prophet's words are not infallible. The messages are to be evaluated,, prayed about , and tested to the will of God. ( 1 Corinthians 14:29-33)
EVANGELIST:S As the call of all Christians is to witness to the lost, God anointed those with the gift of evangelism to preach to people in cities and throughout all the nations, calling for them to turn from sin and be saved. (Acts 2: 14-41)
PASTORS: The pastor receives from God and to shepherd the sheep in all aspects of their spiritual and physical walk, Pastors are to be an example of the truth they are teaching ( Titus 1:5)
TEACHERS: The gift of teachers is an anointing from God to help others learn sound doctrinal principles. A Christian instructor is of a pure heart, and Godly faith (1 Timothy 1: 5). They are vital to the purpose of God's church ( 2 Timothy 1:11-14)
We Believe.....
--God is the Father &
the creator and sustainer of all life.
--Jesus Christ is God's son.
--Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of all sins.
--On the third day, Jesus arose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God.
--The Holy Spirit is a gift from God to teach, convict, guide, and empower us to live like Christ in the truths of the Holy Bible.
--The Baptism of water is a public confession of the washing away of sin & coming back out of the water represents when Jesus arose from the dead.
-- All spiritual gifts are to be used by believers to glorify God in speaking in tongues as a prayer language and for the use of prophecy.
--There is to be an interpretation of tongues for the edification of all believers.
--All gifts come from the Holy Spirit.
--In the laying on of hands for the healing of physical and spiritual needs. In --In the deliverance of minds, souls, and bodies from bondage, in order for believers may have the freedom to live for Jesus.
--We wrestle not against people, but against spiritual wickedness( witchcraft, occult practices.
--We are overcomes by the Blood of Jesus.
(Revelation 12:`11)
